Language, residence and responsibility: guests, outsiders or occupiers?

A response to a message supporting Tatarstan’s independence considers language knowledge, integration, and the responsibilities of Russian-speaking residents in Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.

First of all, we thank you for your kind words to the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile.
Second, you wrote the following on your Facebook page:

- Only a guest, idiot or occupier can know the language of the country of residence! We have about 400,000 Russians living in Kyrgyzstan. But they don't speak Kyrgyz. The question arises:
- According to an ancient sage, who are these 400,000 Russians who do not know the language of their country? The guests? You fools? Or the occupiers?

My dear Assalalah!
Many patriots address the same questions to their peoples - the Kazakhs, the Uzbeks, the Chechens, the Ingushes, the Buryates, the Belarusians, us Tatars, the Bashkirs, the Chuvas, the Udmurs, the Marians, the Erzans and the Mochans. The only way out for all of us is not to let the Russian colonizers impose their Russian language on us, and together we must dismantle their chauvinist empire.
