The Republic of Astrakhan interacts with neighboring states on the basis of good-neighborly relations, mutual respect and due regard for the national interests of the Republic of Astrakhan.

Resources and social standards

The subsoil, natural resources and other national wealth of the Republic of Astrakhan are the property of its people.

Revenue from their use is distributed in equal shares among the citizens of the Republic of Astrakhan in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Education, healthcare, the legal system, defense and social services of the republic are developed and operate in accordance with European standards.

Cooperation and state symbols

The Republic of Astrakhan participates in the development of the Free Idel-Ural project on the principles of equal cooperation.

Government structure

• Head of the republic: elected by the citizens and responsible for overall leadership.
• People’s Assembly: adopts laws and oversees the executive branch.
• Government: manages the economy, the social sphere and state programs.
• Independent court: safeguards the law and human rights.
• Local self-government: addresses municipal matters.

International relations and repatriation

The Republic of Astrakhan adheres to international legal norms and agreements, recognizes generally accepted standards and faithfully fulfills its obligations, building cooperation on equality, legality and mutual respect. The priority is honest partnerships, transparent agreements and mutual benefit.

The Republic of Astrakhan recognizes the right of repatriation for persons of Tatar origin and establishes clear resettlement procedures, including assistance with housing, access to basic services and information about rights and responsibilities. Integration support is provided through state programs. Everything is carried out within the law, consistently and transparently.

Economy, citizenship and rights

The Republic of Astrakhan integrates into the world economy: it adopts international economic standards, ensures transparent rules for investment, protects property rights and develops export-import ties. The priority is fair competition and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The Republic of Astrakhan guarantees citizenship to all residents of the region in accordance with the law.

Tatar, Kazakh and Russian are recognized as state languages.

The Republic of Astrakhan guarantees equal rights to all citizens regardless of faith, nationality or political views. Everyone is equal before the law, and discrimination is prohibited. The state protects freedom of conscience, speech and political choice.
